Welcome to “Echo Hill”, our updated woodside cabin that is close to Hocking Hills offering a private setting for peace & relaxation. Wildlife, nature & starry nights can be enjoyed from the expansive patio complete with a hot tub, firepit, outside dining & deck. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, laundry, large/well equipped kitchen & lots of living space. Easy access to the natural wonders & outdoor adventures this stunning region has to offer. Bring the whole family!

 

 

Echo Hill cabin is perfect for a family getaway, couples retreat or anyone looking for true rest and relaxation in a secluded environment surrounded by nature and wildlife and it’s so close to Hocking Hills attractions. Our cabin is a hidden gem conveniently located near wineries, kayaking, hiking, waterfalls, breweries, shopping, fishing, and antiquing.

All on one level, it’s easy to get around the cabin, just three steps to the indoors. The hot tub out back offers a lot of privacy and is perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. Furnishings are new and comfortable. The living room is equipped with a 65″ smart TV, mini-library and assortment of games & puzzles that opens to the kitchen and dining area. Retreating to the spa-like bathroom in the primary bedroom suite is a real treat after a day of hiking.

The well-equipped kitchen is the heart of the cabin with an oversized center island perfect for gathering around during meal prep or dining. The kitchen also offers a full size refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, sink, stove/oven and microwave. A coffee and tea bar is provided to you as well. Dining table seats six and we also provide you with a portable high chair and additional booster seat for the little ones.

Deck and patio right off the kitchen is perfect for grilling and a great place for your morning coffee. The covered front porch is another great place to enjoy the surrounding views and wildlife.

A laundry room is available for guests complete with an iron, ironing board, washer and dryer.

BEDROOM 1:
Primary suite offers a king size bed, desk, reading chair, dresser, 50″ smart TV, large and luxurious private bathroom with double bowl vanity, soaking tub, step-in shower and a clothing rack.

BEDROOM 2:
Queen size bed, 43″ smart TV, closet with shelving.

BEDROOM 3:
Queen size bed, closet with shelving.

The bedroom layout offers the primary suite at one end of the home and the additional bedrooms at the opposite end.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Expansive backyard entertaining space illuminated by patio lights create a warm and inviting atmosphere featuring a six person hot tub, deck, charcoal grill, patio, outdoor dining table and a fire-pit with additional seating.

FRONT PORCH:
Comfortable patio furniture can be enjoyed on the covered front porch, a perfect place to enjoy each other’s company, conversation or morning coffee.

SEASONS & LOCATION:
This area is beautiful year round but especially in the summer and fall. The autumn colors that appear usually in October are spell binding. You’ll be close to Hocking Hills, hiking, fishing, canoeing, shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, Logan, Athens, Zaleski State Forest and more. Our cabin is about 10-15 minute drive to many Hocking Hills attractions and only 40 minutes to Athens and Ohio University so it is a great place to stay while visiting your college kids.

Shampoo/conditioner and body wash provided. FREE high speed WIFI throughout. Our cabin is not wheelchair accessible at the entry however there are no stairs inside with all one floor living. Small library and games for your use during your stay. All TVs are Samsung smart TVs and you will need to log in and out of your streaming service as there is no cable service here. There are hundreds of Samsung TV channels automatically available.

KITCHEN:
Cooking basics, dinnerware, bakeware, silverware, glassware, mugs, pots/pans, microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, slow cooker, family size electric griddle, toaster, hand mixer, electric kettle. There is a Keurig coffee maker that can brew K-cups or coffee grounds for a full pot (bring your own coffee grounds, #4 filters and additional K-cups if desired), high chair seat and separate booster seat as well as dinnerware and cups for the little ones.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?
We provide linens, bath towels, hot tub towels, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, dish soap and a starter pack of the following: K-cups, powdered cream & sweetener, tea, toilet paper, paper towels and trash can liners. You will want to bring the following:

~Bug & tick spray (it is the woods so be prepared)
~Flashlight
~Ground coffee and #4 filters if you like drip coffee
~K-cups if you prefer coffee by the cup
~Groceries
~Pam or cooking spray, vegetable oil, olive oil
~Additional toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, foil and baggies
~Bottled water if you do not prefer well water from the tap (that is filtered)
~ Laundry detergent if using washer/dryer
~Charcoal and lighter for grill
~Bundle of firewood if using the firepit. Firewood on premises is not for guest use
~Your personal technology chargers (plenty of outlets and USB ports available throughout)
~Log-in information for your preferred streaming services
~Pack n play, bed rails, etc.
~Bluetooth speaker
~ Beach towels if you prefer that for after the hot tub

We have tried to think of all the things you would enjoy when you stay at our cabin. Comfort is a big priority and we were picky selecting mattresses and furniture. We hope you consider us when you plan your next visit to Hocking Hills.
 

 

 

You will be able to access the entire cabin, deck, hot tub, patio, porch and the lawn behind and in front of the cabin. There is no access to the adjacent property east of the tree line.
 
RULES:

– Check-in 4pm, Checkout 10am.
– No parties.
– No pets. No exceptions, sorry.
– No smoking, vaping or use of any illegal drugs in the home. There is a designated smoking area outside.
– Outdoor grill is for charcoal use only, do not burn anything else in this grill.
– Adult supervision required for hot tub use, firepit use, do not leave fire unattended and children should never be left unattended in the hot tub
– No use of ATVs, dirt bikes, golf carts, etc. on the property.

AGE 25 OR OLDER TO BOOK: The guest booking the property must be 25 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request a photo or scan of a government-issued photo ID. The guest who books must stay at the property–you may not book for others if you do not intend to stay at the property.

MINIMUM: 2 night stay minimum, 10% discount with a 7 night stay.

PARKING: Private and mostly flat driveway (4 vehicles max) with room for a vehicle pulling a boat or trailer.

HOT TUB USE: Use of hot tub is at your own risk. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests using the hot tub. When not in use, cover should be closed and secured. Any damage caused to hot tub or cover will result in $400 replacement/repair charge. Adult supervision required at all times.

SETTING & WILDLIFE: Though our cabin sits on land that is fairly flat, the woods behind our cabin have a steep terrain. We ask that guests refrain from using the woods behind the cabin. There is no trespassing on the adjacent property to the east. And because of the woods, there will be bugs, ticks, critters, poison ivy and all that comes with the great outdoors so use caution when outside. We also ask that guests enjoy the wildlife but proceed with caution as they are wild animals after all. And out of respect for the few neighbors we do have, quiet time starts at 10pm through 8am, no fireworks or firearms and we ask that you keep children within the boundaries of the treelines at all times for their safety.
